For all of you experiencing problems with Homecrafter, please try this fix. I can't guarantee it will work for everyone, but it worked for me and I have assurances it has worked for others.
The original download link for Homecrafter on the EA site is not working and it doesn't look like they will fix it anytime soon, so I did a little digging and found a working install to replace it.
